Mission Freedom

Brick Kiln Slavery in Pakistan—Mission Freedom

1. Introduction

In Pakistan, many brick kiln factories exploit vulnerable communities, and Christian families are among the most affected. Due to poverty, social discrimination, and lack of education, Christian workers often have fewer opportunities, making them easy targets for debt bondage and forced labor.

At Fenhas Robin Ministries, we are committed to exposing these injustices, rescuing Christian families trapped in slavery, and providing them with freedom, hope, and a chance to rebuild their lives in dignity.

2. Understanding Brick Kiln Slavery in Pakistan

Brick kiln slavery in Pakistan involves forced labor, debt bondage, and child labor. Many Christian families are trapped in this system due to systemic poverty and marginalization.

 Debt Bondage

Christian workers often borrow small amounts to cover basic needs.

Factory owners use these loans to keep them trapped in long-term labor.

Families may work for years with wages barely covering their debts, sometimes passing the burden to their children.

 Child Labor

Children of Christian workers are forced to work in brick kilns instead of attending school.

They carry heavy bricks, mix clay, and work near hot kilns, risking serious injury or long-term health problems

Harsh Working Conditions

Workers face extreme heat, smoke, and dust with no protective equipment.

Many live in small, unsafe shelters near the kilns with minimal food and water.

Physical abuse, intimidation, and threats are common to prevent escape.

3. Challenges Faced by Christian Workers

Social discrimination: As a minority community, Christians in Pakistan often lack legal protection and access to justice.

Limited education: Many cannot read or write, making them vulnerable to exploitation.

Generational bondage: Families trapped in debt may see multiple generations forced into the kilns.

4. Our Mission to Free Christian Workers

Fenhas Robin Ministries works to:

Rescue Christian families trapped in brick kilns

Provide safe shelter, education, and healthcare for survivors

Offer spiritual support and counseling for healing from trauma

Advocate for justice to end systemic exploitation

5. How You Can Help

6. Cost to Free a Family

Freedom from slavery: 800–1,000 Euros per family

Additional support: 2 months of food packages and rent are separate and funded as needed

Impact: Your contribution directly rescues a family from exploitation and provides them with immediate safety and support
